Item types

Six ways to ask, one way to act

Every item can decide what happens to the vehicle when it fails. That is what turns a form into a readiness system.

Pass or fail

Pump primes

Two big buttons. The most common item, and the fastest to answer with gloves on.

Choose what a fail does: nothing, restricted, or off run.

Reading

Main oxygen cylinder pressure

A number with a unit, checked against a low and a high limit. kPa, psi, bar, litres, percent, seconds, anything you use.

Outside the limits behaves exactly like a failed item.

Count against par

Delivery hoses on board

How many are actually on the truck, compared with the par level for that vehicle.

Short of par raises a defect so stores can top it up.

Expiry date

Defibrillator pads

The date printed on the item. Recorded once and tracked from then on.

Warns 30 days out, and restricts the vehicle on the day it expires.

Photo

Damage to the rear locker

Required always, or only when an item fails. Photos attach to the item, not just the check.

Gives the workshop what it needs without a phone call.

Signature

Officer sign off

For fleets whose procedure needs a name against the check.

Coming with the next app release.

Real examples

Checks that match the truck in front of you

We start you with three checks built from real fleet content: a Cat 1 tanker, an ambulance and an ERT light vehicle. Then we shape them around your equipment, your SOPs and your site rules.

  • Thresholds come from the manufacturer, your procedure or your equipment list. We never invent a number.
  • Items can be left without a limit until the real figure is confirmed. The reading is still recorded.
  • Each item can record where the requirement came from, which is useful evidence in an audit.

Versions

Change a check without breaking last year's records

Published checks are locked. Editing one creates a new version, which crews pick up on their next check. Old records still show exactly what was asked on the day.

Draft it

Add, edit, reorder or remove items. Preview exactly what the crew will see on a phone.

Publish it

One tap. Crews use it from their next check. The previous version is retired, not deleted.

Prove it

Every check records the version used, who did it, when, and where.

Send us one of your check sheets

We will build it into Clearway ES and show you it running on a phone, with the defects and status it produces.
